Paul Walter was our Architect for a 4000 square foot home we built in Sedona in 2018 and 2019. What we liked is that he listened to our ideas and designed a house for us, not something he thought it should have been. Not only was he proficient in the design aspects of the house, but was also able to manage the structural engineering requirements. We have built five homes over the past 25 years and have never had a project where we did not want some changes once it was started. During this project Paul was very responsive when asked to come to the site, review, and provide us with signed change approvals. It was also evident that he understood construction and worked well with our general contractor. We will definitely use Paul if we ever build again.

I live in Northern Arizona and chose to build a home using house plans

that I found on the Internet. When I submitted them to the County Planning

for permitting, they were returned to me two months later with several pages

of changes that needed to be made. After much frustration, I met Paul Walters.

Paul took what I had and put it into CAD and fixed all of the issues promptly

and in an affordable way. When I resubmitted the plans, they went right through

and were permitted without any changes needed. When the County required other

documents from me, Paul helped me find solutions and promptly provided me

with whatever was needed.

Paul was the architect for a conversion of a screened-in porch to an Arizona/Media room and an extension of the exterior deck. He was very engaged throughout the design phase, really listened to our ideas and considered the intended use for the area before providing constructive advice and design suggestions. Paul very responsive with the small changes requested by the city and adapted the plans seamlessly. Following Superstorm Sandy, our house was damaged beyond repair. Paul handled the design of our new home which exceeded the strict new city zoning requirements. We qualified for a State program to elevate the house but the paperwork needed to qualify seemed to never end. Paul was very responsive to our requests for help with the design documents.

Paul Walter helped my mom build her new house after Sandy, out of all of the people involved in this process, he was the most responsive, the most understanding, and the quickest to make any needed changes to the blueprints or answer our questions. I recommend Paul without reservation. He can do it all, our project had 22 hellical piles and a 10 foot high cement foundation, 2 stories and 2 decks stacked ontop of each other. Thanks Paul.

Paul was the architect for a large extension of our house, involving a new garage, breezeway, 2 additional bedrooms and baths, in a mother daughter arrangement. The new addition needed to meet an wide array of architectural requirements due to strict local code, but also from an esthetics perspective. Paul worked with us, listened, provided great suggestions and via an iterative process designed a fantastic looking end product for which it looked like it was always built that way from day one. Paul also worked closely with the builder, providing in the end a great experience. We will use Paul again for our next project.
